NYC Department of Education HIV/AIDS Curriculum

NYC HIV/AIDS CurriculumThis guide is a comprehensive HIV/AIDS curriculum package prepared for teachers in the New York City Department of Education.  It contains worksheets and guides with content created for every grade from kindergarten to grade 12. 

All data presented is from 2005, with detailed information not only on HIV/AIDS in the United States, but also internationally, focusing equally on the medical and social aspects of AIDS.  All files are downloadable and ready to use in PDF format.

Supporting Grade R to Grade 3 Learners with Chronic IllnessThis guide was created collaboratively by the Department of Education for the Republic of South Africa and Unicef and aims at providing resources for Foundation Phase teachers currently working with children suffering from chronic illness. 

This guide also touches broadly on the concept of inclusive education insofar as it relates to children between preschool and grade 3.
