Sponsors

Art for AIDS International provides innovative sponsorship opportunities for corporations. Each Kids for Kids twinning project requires a corporate donor to cover the essential costs. As part of the dual adoption, sponsorship gives the organization the right to select a school in its community that is matched with an African school. The two selected schools then participate in workshops conducted by a facilitator. A team of adjudicators works with the sponsor organization to select 10 art works from the combined work of both twinned schools. The donor organization becomes the recipient of a set of exclusive prints created by children in its local community and in Africa. The distribution of the 500 prints is at the discretion of the organization although these prints are often used as corporate gifts, employee rewards or other incentive gifts. The remaining selected artwork of approximately 30 images from each twinned project forms its own unique Kids for Kids print portfolio which Art for AIDS then distributes for sale in the global community. The funds raised by the sale of these prints go to carefully selected non-governmental organizations.

The rewards and benefits to becoming a sponsoring organization are many. There is the obvious and paramount investment in the lives of young people on a global scale. As well, by helping to create awareness through education and art, as an organization you will be demonstrating in a public way your commitment to building a better world. There is the demonstrative act that money can be used wisely and compassionately. Finally the public signal to the community at large that your organization can care for the welfare of our worldwide community and its most vulnerable citizens.
